All content on this site — including the written checklists, prompts, frameworks, observation tools, doctor-prep guides, carer-handover templates, Sierra AI conversational design, illustrations, layout, code and the name "The Care Companion" — is the original work of the author and is protected by copyright law under the Berne Convention. Copyright applies automatically from the moment of publication; no registration is required.

2. What you may not do

• Copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, mirror or redistribute any part of this site, in any format, without prior written permission.
• Use any of the content (including the wording of checklists, prompts and Sierra responses) to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning or AI models.
• Repackage the content into a competing product, service, book, course or app.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trade mark or attribution notice.
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, headless browsers) to access locked sections or bypass the sign-up requirement.

3. What you may do

Subscribers may use the app for their own personal, non-commercial caring role — to support a family member or loved one living with dementia — and may print or download generated PDF packs for that purpose and share them with the person's clinicians, carers and close family.

4. Not medical advice

The Care Companion is a support tool for unpaid family carers. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, legal or financial advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions about treatment, medication, capacity or finances.

5. Your data

Information you enter about the person you care for is stored against your account and is only visible to you and the family members you explicitly invite. PDF packs are generated on your device. We do not sell your data.

6. Subscription

Access to the full app is provided on a 7-day free trial followed by a £3.99/month subscription. You can cancel anytime from the billing page after any minimum commitment has been met.

7. Reporting infringement

If you believe any content on this site has been copied from your own work, or you have spotted our content being copied elsewhere, please contact us via the feedback section in the app so we can take action.

8. Trade mark

"The Care Companion" and the accompanying logo are used as trade marks of the operator of this site.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
